This yoghurt is made from whole buffalo milk with a rich culture of beneficial bacteria. It is fermented using authentic Bulgarian yoghurt cultures that deliver the genuine taste of traditional Bulgarian yoghurt (Lactobacillus Bulgaricus and Streptococcus Thermophilus). Enriched with kaymak — a traditional Balkan cream skimmed from slowly simmered buffalo milk — for an exceptionally rich and velvety texture.
The buffaloes graze freely and feed on seasonal grasses and herbs of the Troyanski Balkan Mountain region, which influences the flavour and quality of their milk. Natural grazing ensures higher nutritional values — more calcium, more Omega-3, and CLA (conjugated linoleic acid). Contains no preservatives, thickeners, starches, or powdered milk. The yoghurt is not whipped to increase volume. Packaged in glass to preserve its natural freshness and taste.
True yoghurt originates from Bulgaria — and what makes it truly unique is its key culture: Lactobacillus Bulgaricus. This living bacterium thrives naturally in the Bulgarian mountain environment and cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world. That is why authentic Bulgarian yoghurt can only be produced in Bulgaria. This remarkable microorganism gives Bulgarian yoghurt its characteristic tangy flavour and exceptional probiotic properties.
The exceptional quality of this yoghurt has been recognised by health professionals. Several Prague-based doctors recommend Moni-En yoghurt to their patients and refer them directly to us — believing that authentic.
