Goat yoghurt is popular in many households for its distinctive flavour, high concentration of beneficial nutrients, and positive effects on health. It is most widely enjoyed in Greece, Italy, and the Balkans. Compared to regular cow’s milk yoghurt, it contains significantly higher amounts of protein, fat, calcium, cobalt, phosphorus, vitamins B, A and D, and essential amino acids. It is also more easily digested by the human body. Produced in the ecologically pristine Balkan Mountains region of Bulgaria.
True yoghurt originates from Bulgaria — and what makes it truly unique is its key culture: Lactobacillus Bulgaricus. This living bacterium is found exclusively in the high-altitude regions of the Rhodope Mountains, where it thrives naturally in the local water and environment. It cannot be replicated elsewhere in the world, which is why authentic Bulgarian yoghurt can only be produced in Bulgaria. This remarkable microorganism is what gives Bulgarian yoghurt its characteristic tangy flavour and exceptional probiotic properties.
