This yoghurt is made from whole cow milk with a rich culture of beneficial bacteria. It is fermented using authentic Bulgarian yoghurt cultures that deliver the genuine taste of traditional Bulgarian yoghurt (Lactobacillus Bulgaricus and Streptococcus Thermophilus).
The cows graze freely and feed on seasonal grasses and herbs of the Troyanski Balkan Mountain region, which influences the flavour and quality of their milk. Natural grazing ensures higher nutritional values — more calcium, more Omega-3, and CLA (conjugated linoleic acid). Contains no preservatives, thickeners, starches, or powdered milk. The yoghurt is not whipped to increase volume. Whey forms naturally on the surface and can be consumed or poured off. Packaged in glass for the best preservation of taste and freshness. Produced in the ecologically pristine Balkan Mountains region of Bulgaria.
True yoghurt originates from Bulgaria — and what makes it truly unique is its key culture: Lactobacillus Bulgaricus. This living bacterium is found exclusively in the high-altitude regions of Bulgaria, where it thrives naturally in the local water and environment. It cannot be replicated elsewhere in the world, which is why authentic Bulgarian yoghurt can only be produced in Bulgaria.
